Felicianas
Originally only 1 parish until the division in 1824, the Feliciana’s are known as the “hills” with some of the highest elevations in the Florida parishes. The Feliciana’s contain many historically significant homes and landmarks. Among them is the Town of St. Francisville in West Feliciana Parish known for its historic downtown area. East Feliciana contains the Town of Clinton (parish seat) and its largest town of Jackson. These two parishes are the least populated in the Baton Rouge Metro area and are known for their estate sized tracts of land.
